Students were given a tour of the grand library and an academic referencing workshop by the university’s librarians. Followed by an undergraduate style lecture by Dr Nicola Abbott, in her specialism, on social psychology and bystanders.

Mrs Ward shared her career in politics, including her time working as part of the Foreign Office, and her current work representing local residents in her ward. Students and staff thoroughly enjoyed Mrs Ward's visit and found it insightful to see how local government operates.

Music Society - HRSF has a Band!

It was fantastic that we had so many students at the launch of our music society. It was impressive to see so many of our sixth formers with musical talents and it was wonderful to hear them play together.

Our first formal production will be for our sixth form opening evening, which is taking place on Tuesday 12th November.

A special mention to Jack and Destiny on the guitar, Rere on the piano, Ere on the saxophone and Samuel, Samuel, and Emmanuel on the drums. It was great to see Ayva, Josh and Bianca showcase their talents too! If you would like to be part of this, please join us on Wednesdays.
