Mrs Ward shared her career in politics, including her time working as part of the Foreign Office, and her current work representing local residents in her ward. Students and staff thoroughly enjoyed Mrs Ward's visit and found it insightful to see how local government operates.

Enoch and UCL Engineering Competition

Enoch and competitionDuring his work experience placement at UCL, Enoch was recognised for his ability in art and approached by a colleague to enter a civil engineering competition.

This is the first-ever creative arts festival the Institution of Civil Engineers has organised, and looks to make crucial connections between civil engineering, nature and the arts.

Enoch is an aspiring architect and this opportunity to showcase his creative ability is fantastic. Enoch is not studying Art A-Level and so this allows him to demonstrate his interest and skills beyond his studies.

Finalists will be in with a chance to win £500 and an exclusive opportunity to present their entry in person at the iconic Great Hall at One Great George Street in London.
