Mrs Ward shared her career in politics, including her time working as part of the Foreign Office, and her current work representing local residents in her ward. Students and staff thoroughly enjoyed Mrs Ward's visit and found it insightful to see how local government operates.

Economics at LSE -Talk From Harris Rainham Alumni

This week a group of Year 13 students who are applying to study economics, management and finance related degrees were able to meet Joseph, a Harris Rainham alumni who has successfully secured a place at LSE (The London School of Economics and Political Science) with the addition of a scholarship!

Students were able to ask Joseph about the UCAS application process, how to further enhance their personal statement and key tips to increase their success.

Our Year 13 students also had the opportunity to read Joseph’s personal statement from which he received 5/5 offers, including both LSE and Kings College London.

Joseph also was able to provide guidance with regards to the scholarship pathways at LSE. It was an informative session - thank you so much Joseph!
