Posted on: 12/02/2025Year 12 geographers visited Boscombe, a coastal town on the outskirts of Bournemouth, to investigate the regeneration of the area and practice human geography fieldwork skills.
On the second day, students visited Chesil Beach and carried out a beach profile investigation to measure longshore drift. They also got the opportunity to visit the famous coastal landforms, Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, learning about how they were created.
