Sixth Form Students Visit Queen's College, Cambridge
Posted on: 06/03/2024A group of our Sixth Form students visited Queens’ College, Cambridge today.
After an introduction to the specific requirements of the Oxbridge application process, and an extensive tour of the college, our students attended taster lectures in STEM and the humanities.
The STEM lecture was delivered by Dr. Stephen Price and explored methods of understanding the human brain, while the humanities lecture was led by Dr. Michael Loy and looked at theatrical performance in Ancient Greece.
The day ended with a Q&A and a photo opportunity at the famous Mathematical Bridge over the river Cam.
Thank you Mr Moka and Mr Holland for facilitating this fantastic opportunity.
