Mrs Ward shared her career in politics, including her time working as part of the Foreign Office, and her current work representing local residents in her ward. Students and staff thoroughly enjoyed Mrs Ward's visit and found it insightful to see how local government operates.

Harris Rainham Sixth Form Welcomes First Students

StudentsWe were delighted to welcome our very first cohort of students into our Sixth Form last week.

Their first day was filled with lots of different activities, ranging from a question hunt to a 'speed dating' activity. We were hugely impressed by the way our students, who come from many different schools, worked together to solve the riddles hidden at various locations around the school, and we were equally pleased with the buzz of conversation from the speed dating session.

Our students have worked hard this week to acquaint themselves with their new form tutors and subject teachers, and we have been hugely impressed by how well they have taken to their independent study in our newly refurbished Sixth Form room.

They have made an excellent start, and we are excited to see what they will accomplish in their first term here at Harris Rainham Sixth Form.
