Mrs Ward shared her career in politics, including her time working as part of the Foreign Office, and her current work representing local residents in her ward. Students and staff thoroughly enjoyed Mrs Ward's visit and found it insightful to see how local government operates.

Medicine, Veterinary and Dentistry Doctor Visit

This week, our MDV (Medicine, Veterinary and Dentistry) students attended a lecture delivered by a Cardiology Doctor.

The lecture covered a variety of topics, including university applications, UCAT assessments, the medicine course and training after university. Students were also exposed to life as a doctor and the career progression within the NHS and the RAF.

We are so proud of how our sixth formers engaged and actively listened during this lecture, with many asking curious questions to develop their understanding of medicine and how to navigate the competitive application process to pursue a career in the medical field.
