Mrs Ward shared her career in politics, including her time working as part of the Foreign Office, and her current work representing local residents in her ward. Students and staff thoroughly enjoyed Mrs Ward's visit and found it insightful to see how local government operates.

Entrepreneur Workshop for Economics Students

Last week four Economics students attended an 'Entrepreneur Workshop' at Harris Westminster Sixth Form, organised by Mission Ventures.

The workshop offered a valuable opportunity for students to connect with peers from various Harris Academies and industry professionals, enhancing their professional skills in preparation for life beyond Sixth Form.

Throughout the day, students participated in a group task focused on developing a technological campaign specialising in mobile technology. They leveraged their Economics curriculum knowledge to inform their decision-making processes. The event fostered ambitious ideas and healthy competition amongst the groups, with the winning team earning a prize.

The day was a great success for Caleb, Nabeel, Harrison, and Joseph, who exhibited excellent teamwork and positive behaviour throughout the workshop.
