Each sixth form was tasked with formulating a 'challenge statement', and our students eagerly embraced the opportunity to 'make a difference in their local community'.
The students pooled their collective talents and expertise to assess the current state of their respective academies and identified opportunities for positive impact. Through a series of strategic exercises, including design thinking and the development of customer portfolios, they meticulously crafted a roadmap for their mission.
Their inspired mission? To support local businesses by offering workshops on harnessing the power of websites and social media to expand their market presence.
Year 12 students will lead the charge in providing these invaluable services, while Year 11 students will collaborate on comprehensive research projects focused on local businesses, culminating in a six-month commitment.
The pinnacle of this transformative journey came when our students confidently presented their visionary ideas to a panel of esteemed judges and their peers from neighbouring academies.
