Mrs Ward shared her career in politics, including her time working as part of the Foreign Office, and her current work representing local residents in her ward. Students and staff thoroughly enjoyed Mrs Ward's visit and found it insightful to see how local government operates.

Induction Afternoon, Wednesday 5th July, 2.00-5.30pm

Harris Rainham Sixth Form Consultation BookletHarris Rainham Sixth Form will be hosting an induction afternoon on Wednesday 5th July from 2pm-5.30pm.

Due to the large number of applications that we have received, we are asking that all interested students request to attend this event. We will then organise sessions and write to you by mid-June to confirm your place on our induction day or let you know of alternative arrangements.

The day will consist of an initial assembly where you will hear about our values and gain an insight into what life will be like as a sixth form student at Harris Rainham Sixth Form. You will then attend two A-Level taster sessions in your chosen subjects. These sessions will delve into a topic on the A-Level course and allow you to experience content which you will be studying beyond GCSE. The session will also outline the entry requirements and the ways the subject will be examined, as well as recommended pre-reading and preparation.

A link to register has been sent to all applicant email addresses. If you would like to attend our induction afternoon, please follow the link and complete all information by Monday 29th May.
